Contribute
- Competently advise, support and empower people with diabetes mellitus – focusing on self-management, health literacy and quality of life
- Conduct individual training on therapy forms, glucose monitoring, insulin therapy and diabetes technologies
- Collaborate interprofessionally with doctors, nutritional counselling, nursing and other specialist areas
- Independently conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations (approx. 80% outpatient/20% inpatient)
- Contribute expertise and participate in the development of evidence-based diabetes counselling
- Complete the part-time further training to become a certified diabetes specialist HFP and directly transfer acquired knowledge into practice
Bring
- Diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH
- Interest in specialising in diabetes counselling and motivation for further training as a certified diabetes specialist HFP
- Enjoyment in counselling, education and resource-oriented support of people with diabetes as well as caring for their relatives
- Interest in complex issues around diabetes, therapy forms and new technologies
- Enjoyment in interprofessional collaboration and active participation
- Independent and responsible way of working
