About the job
KISIM Basecamp
On 17 and 18 February 2020, the first KISIM training "KISIM Basecamp" took place at the University Children’s Hospital of both Basel as part of an introductory project. Our KISIM experts presented working with KISIM over the course of the two-day training using an inpatient and outpatient case. Afterwards, the training participants had the opportunity to replay the examples themselves in KISIM and were thus able to gain their first experiences in using KISIM. Our staff were on hand to support them with advice and assistance.
Background
CISTEC is committed to continuously improving our introduction methodology. Therefore, we reviewed the last introductory projects and launched the KISIM Basecamp under the motto "Lessons learned." Our module managers and subproject leaders put their heads together and were able to develop a first training concept for the KISIM Basecamp within just a few weeks. It was important to us to pass on KISIM knowledge to the customer at the very beginning of an introductory project and to demonstrate to their subject matter experts, who will also be heavily involved in the project later, how to work across modules, interdisciplinarily and interprofessionally in KISIM. This gives our customers an early insight into KISIM and teaches them how KISIM is structured. Thus, the core team is enabled from the start to familiarise themselves independently with KISIM and to pass on their acquired knowledge internally. The aim is also that the core team is professionally capable of co-moderating the workshops after the training.
Outlook
The feedback from the training participants was positive and we were also able to gain new insights into how we can make the KISIM Basecamp even better in the future. We are therefore already looking forward to conducting the next Basecamp and would like to sincerely thank everyone involved once again.
