Trainee Employee – FH Social Work (60%, fixed-term)
The Specialist Unit for Extremism and Violence Prevention FSEG is aimed at the population of Winterthur as well as professionals from schools, vocational training, youth and social work. It offers support around violence prevention, extremism, and radicalization. From June 1, 2026, or by arrangement, you will support our team for at least three years during your studies in the Specialist Unit for Extremism and Violence Prevention (FSEG) in implementing offers and carrying out projects. Your varied learning and activity area in a diverse and rapidly changing field of work includes:Your Tasks
- Collaborate in the implementation of extremism prevention offers, in conducting projects and workshops for risk groups, and in training multipliers
- Handle and advise on inquiries in the field of extremism prevention, especially from affected relatives and professionals in cases of suspected radicalization
- Maintain networks with external specialist agencies and actors
- Take on research tasks, documentation, and quality assurance
- Further develop the prevention services within the department
Your Profile
- Admission for a part-time degree in Social Work at a University of Applied Sciences
- Interest and willingness to engage with topics of extremism prevention and communicate with different stakeholder groups
- Open attitude towards different worldviews
- Independent, resilient, and reliable personality
