What you can achieve
- Specify, install and configure network, server and infrastructure components
- Build, operate and administer Windows and Linux systems
- Integrate and manage ICT platforms as well as Kubernetes environments
- Monitor, analyse and optimise system and network performance
- Ensure a stable, secure and highly available IT operation
- Contribute to the automation of infrastructure and operational processes
- Analyse and resolve faults in the areas of servers, networks and operating systems
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operating instructions
- Collaborate with internal departments to implement new IT solutions
What you bring with you
- Completed training as an ICT specialist EFZ, degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Sound knowledge in the setup and operation of Windows and Linux systems
- Very good network knowledge (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with virtualisation technologies as well as storage and server infrastructures
- Experience in operating and administering Kubernetes environments
- Knowledge of automation with PowerShell, Bash or comparable scripting languages is an advantage
- Fluent German; English skills (level B2) and French are an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
