Change Manager (fixed-term) 80 - 100%The Security Directorate employs around 5,000 staff members. The Security Directorate includes the Zurich Cantonal Police, the Road Traffic Office, the Migration Office, the Office for Military and Civil Protection, the Cantonal Social Office as well as the Sports Office and the Appeals Department. The General Secretariat is the central staff unit of the Security Directorate.
In the General Secretariat, we are looking for a Change Manager from 1 October 2026 until approximately 30 June 2027. In this versatile role, you will actively shape the digital transformation and support change initiatives at both strategic and operational levels.
Your tasks
- You accompany and shape transformation and digitalisation projects – from planning to successful implementation.
- You support and advise on the development and implementation of measures to strengthen the organisation's ability to change and to further develop the organisational culture.
- You take on project coordination and the implementation of cantonal projects within the Security Directorate.
- You analyse and optimise processes and organisational structures, develop optimisation proposals and advise specialist departments on realignment.
- You plan and lead workshops, training sessions and information events and support internal communication.
Your profile
- Tertiary qualification in business administration or psychology, ideally with a focus on organisational development/organisational management.
- Solid experience in change management as well as in transformation and digitalisation projects.
- Professional experience in the public administration is an advantage.
- Experience in designing and conducting training and workshops as well as strong consulting, moderation and communication skills.
- Digital competence and quick adaptation to new systems.
- Independent and solution-oriented working style as well as enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
