As part of the development of our Data & AI Business Line in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a Lead MDM Technical Specialist specialised in Semarchy to strengthen our Data Management expertise and support our clients in the design and implementation of strategic Master Data Management platforms.
Based in French-speaking Switzerland, you will work with major accounts mainly located in Geneva and Lausanne.
Job Description
Your role:
As a Lead MDM Technical Specialist Semarchy, you are the technical reference for our MDM offering and play a key role in the success of our clients' projects.
You are above all a hands-on profile, capable of handling the most complex aspects of MDM projects while supervising more junior consultants.
You intervene from pre-sales phases to the production deployment of solutions and support project teams on architecture, implementation and technical governance aspects.
You will also contribute to the upskilling of our consultants and the development of MDM expertise within Talan Switzerland.
Your responsibilities:
Technical expertise and leadership
Design and implement MDM solutions based on Semarchy xDM / SDP.
- Define technical architectures and best development practices.
- Supervise master and reference data modelling choices.
- Ensure the technical quality of implemented solutions.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews.
- Supervise and support MDM development teams.
- Ensure the upskilling of more junior consultants.
Project delivery
- Install and configure Semarchy platforms in client environments.
- Participate in defining integration architectures with existing systems.
- Supervise complex developments and critical components.
- Ensure platform performance, security and maintainability.
- Support testing, migration and production deployment phases.
- Act as a technical reference for issues encountered during projects.
Client consulting and support
- Lead technical workshops with business and IT teams.
- Advise clients on best practices for governance and reference data management.
- Support the definition of MDM roadmaps.
- Participate in scoping and enterprise architecture phases related to Data Management.
Offer development and pre-sales
- Contribute to the development of Talan Switzerland's Data Management offering.
- Participate in client presentations and demonstrations.
- Prepare workload estimates and tender responses.
- Contribute to the partnership with the Semarchy publisher.
- Participate in monitoring activities and promote MDM expertise within the Swiss market.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 8 years' experience in implementing Data Management / Master Data Management solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of significant and demonstrable experience with Semarchy xDM.
- Proven experience in end-to-end MDM deployment projects.
- Experience in technical supervision of project teams.
Mandatory technical skills
