The MESS team is responsible for the operation and continuous development of the standard software solutions SWIFT and EBICS, which are essential for secure and efficient payment transactions. SWIFT enables the international exchange of payment data between banks and financial institutions, while EBICS serves as a communication standard for companies to securely communicate with us as a bank, exchange data, and authorise payments. Additionally, a new product will soon be offered, which is also managed by the DevOps team.
With a twelve-member interdisciplinary team of experienced developers and integration specialists, as well as dedicated subject matter experts, the DevOps MESS team ensures smooth system integration. The team combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of business processes to provide reliable solutions.

Your tasks
- Implementing professional and technical requirements in the backend (Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Linux) and frontend (TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3)
- Further developing and maintaining purchased software products and deepening your knowledge in application integration
- Ensuring the continuous development and stable operation of the systems within the framework of the DevOps philosophy
- Developing technical concepts, analyses, and designs for new features in close collaboration with internal departments and external software partners
- Introducing new technical and methodological impulses and promoting open, transparent communication within the team
Your profile
- Completed studies in computer science or a comparable IT-related education
- Several years of professional experience in developing modern web applications, ideally with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript
- Experience as an application manager or system integrator throughout the entire lifecycle of an application (introduction, operation, maintenance) or willingness to acquire this knowledge
- Good knowledge of Continuous Integration & Delivery (e.g. CloudBees/Jenkins, Maven, Tomcat, Nexus, GitLab) and experience with Linux environments
- You are a team player, enjoy delving into new topics, and actively share your know-how within the team
- You strive to accompany applications throughout the entire product lifecycle and take responsibility
- Very good German language skills (at least C1 level) in spoken and written form
