Internship M&A

The M&A team, reporting to the Head M&A within the CFO area, is responsible for group-wide M&A activities and investment management. As a part of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of SIX by contributing to strategic M&A projects and supporting the management of our investments. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and make a tangible impact on the company’s growth.
This is a 6-month internship, starting in January 2027 (or beginning of February 2027 at the latest).
What You Will Do
- Assisting the SIX M&A team in ongoing transactions and strategic M&A initiatives
- Support on financial models & company valuations and conduct strategic analyses
- Carrying out research on market trends, industry development and potential target companies
- Helping on the management of complex M&A projects by ensuring smooth coordination across stakeholders
- Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for internal decision-making bodies
What You Bring
- A university degree in economics, finance, or management (a technical or industrial engineering background with a strong finance interest is also welcome)
- Ideally, prior experience in M&A / investment banking or strategy consulting
- Strong MS Office skills (esp. Excel and Power Point)
- Solid planning and organizational abilities, combined with analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Fluency in English is a must, German and / or Spanish is a plus
