- Overall management of the municipal police in professional, strategic, organizational, and personnel matters
- Further development of processes and structures within the municipal police considering efficiency and impact internally and externally
- Ensuring constructive cooperation within the municipal administrations of Volketswil and Schwerzenbach, in the regional association, and with the Zurich Cantonal Police, as well as with other authorities
Operational control
- Ensuring an effective, efficient, and situation-adapted municipal police according to the performance mandate of the municipal council
- Prioritization and coordination of police tasks in daily business
- Advising the security boards of Volketswil and Schwerzenbach as well as the head of the security department from a police perspective
- Taking over patrol and special services as needed
You bring with you
- Completed police training with corresponding proven leadership qualifications
- Several years of experience in police service in a leadership role
- Clear, appreciative, and confident leadership skills
- Strategic thinking, high personal responsibility, and decisiveness
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
