As part of a replacement within the Overhead Line service, we are advertising a position for a:

Overhead Line Electrician CDM 6 months

Your mission

Reporting to the overhead line manager, you will be responsible for carrying out various troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and emergency intervention tasks on the overhead contact line and the 600V cable network to contribute to the proper functioning and development of the company’s 600V network, in compliance with the rules, standards and directives in force.

Your main responsibilities

• According to the annual schedule, ensure on-call duty and take all necessary measures to restore the line in case of malfunction, according to established standards and directives. Be responsible for the overhead line on-call teams,
• in accordance with the annual schedule, carry out various revision and maintenance works on the overhead line, according to current prescriptions and received directives,
• upon request from the RCT and/or Remote Control, perform and ensure troubleshooting/emergency interventions on the overhead line to maintain a permanent operational state of the network,
• carry out various works related to the execution of projects according to received directives and set objectives.

Your profile

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as network electrician or equivalent qualification for overhead lines,
• 3 years of professional experience in electricity,
• heavy goods vehicle licence, forklift, crane and aerial platform operator or able to obtain them,
• very good technical knowledge of an electrical network,
• very good knowledge of applicable laws and regulations,
• very good ability to learn new tasks, curiosity and adaptability,
• necessary flexibility in working hours as an on-call service is in place with night work.
