Master Production Scheduler (m/f/d)

Your Opportunity

To strengthen our Site Supply Chain Planning Team at the Bern location, we are looking for a committed individual as Master Production Scheduler.
In this responsible role, you work at the interface between operational site management and global supply chain strategy and make a significant contribution to ensuring the deliverability of our products.

Your portfolio extends over products whose manufacturing takes place both at the Bern site and with external production partners (CMOs) in several European countries.

You are responsible for master production and supply planning over a rolling time horizon of 1–12 months and support senior management decision-making with sound analyses, scenarios, and recommendations. In doing so, you act as a central integration role between Detailed Scheduling, Global Planning, Finance, External Supply Operations, and Site Operations.

Your Tasks

• Overall responsibility for master production and supply planning for assigned critical products in a dynamic environment

• Central planning interface between Site Operations in Bern and Global Supply Planning, ensuring alignment between operational implementation and global strategy

• Creation and management of capacity plans including identification of risks, bottlenecks, and optimization potentials

• Close collaboration with Global Supply Planning, Finance, External Supply Operations, and Site Operations to derive scenarios, trade-offs, and reliable recommendations for action

• Maintenance and assurance of high data quality of planning master data in SAP and Kinaxis / Maestro as a basis for governance and decision-making processes

• Confident operation in a GMP-regulated environment, while maintaining speed and reliability

• Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives along the master planning and end-to-end supply chain processes

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a technical field

• APICS CPIM certification is an advantage

• At least 5 years of experience in supply or production planning, ideally in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment

• Very good knowledge of SAP and Kinaxis / Maestro (or comparable advanced planning systems)

• Strong ability to analyze complex problems in a structured way under pressure and work solution-oriented

• High attention to detail as well as pronounced quality and data understanding

• Proven ability to build and maintain sustainable relationships with internal stakeholders

• Assertiveness and persuasiveness in cross-functional environments

• Team-oriented, resilient, and decisive personality in a fast-paced work environment

• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written (mandatory)
