Your Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the strategic, organisational and economic management of the Network Infrastructure & Service division (EBL network and Saphir Group AG) with a focus on sustainable value creation, growth and performance
- Development and implementation of the long-term network and infrastructure strategy taking into account supply security, regulation, decarbonisation, digitalisation and economic efficiency. Ensuring a future-proof and economically successful infrastructure as well as further development of asset management according to ISO 55000
- Responsibility for the further development and scaling of the infrastructure service business as a strategic growth area of EBL. Identification, development and implementation of new business fields, market and customer segments as well as building and further developing partnerships, cooperations and M&A initiatives
- Management and further development of the business portfolio with responsibility for growth, profitability, capital allocation and sustainable value enhancement. Establishment of consistent performance management
- Responsibility for the planning, prioritisation and implementation of investment programmes, transformation and digitalisation projects as well as overarching opportunity and risk management
- Assumption of governance, board and participation functions as well as active representation of EBL in industry associations, expert committees and towards relevant stakeholders
- Active shaping of the corporate strategy and group-wide further development of EBL as a member of the executive management
Your Qualities
- University degree (Master) in industrial engineering, energy/electrical engineering, business administration or a comparable field; further training in general management, strategy or business development is an advantage
- Several years of experience in leading managers and management teams. Entrepreneurial, implementation-strong personality with high communication and stakeholder competence
- Proven competence in performance management of business units as well as in managing profitability, investments and capital allocation
- Proven success in building, scaling and leading growth businesses as well as in developing new markets, customer segments and business fields in the energy or infrastructure sector or the corresponding service area
- Good understanding of infrastructure, energy or network businesses, regulatory frameworks as well as long-term asset and investment cycles
- Solid experience in M&A, participation management, strategic partnerships and cooperations as well as in their integration and performance management
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with experience in developing and implementing corporate, growth and portfolio strategies as well as in managing transformation programmes
