The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. All collaborators invest daily to provide quality care to patients, embodying the institution's values: authenticity, exemplarity, and innovation.
To complete our surgery department team at our Rennaz site, we are looking for a:
Nurse M/F in Surgery at 80%-100%
The main duties of this position are
- Welcome, communicate and collaborate with the patient and their family
- Ensure the quality, safety, and continuity of care
- Systematically identify the patient’s needs and resources
- Develop care objectives with the patient, their relatives, and the multidisciplinary team, based on collected data and considering a comprehensive therapeutic project
- Collaborate in organizing work and ensuring the smooth running of the department’s activities
- Contribute to an interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork
We require
- A nursing diploma HES or an equivalent recognized qualification
- Excellent adaptability, anticipation, and initiative skills, as well as good stress management
- A motivated, rigorous, and dynamic person with a sense of responsibility
- An open mind
- Ease in communication and information transmission
- Good knowledge of computer tools
- Motivation to train and stay informed
