The Zurich University of Teacher Education actively shapes education, school and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research.
The department « Subject Didactics Research » deals with teaching and learning processes in specific school subjects. It addresses the selection and justification of learning content and teaching objectives, the psychological and social starting conditions of teachers and learners, and the professionalisation of teachers in subject-specific and interdisciplinary contexts.
The position is aimed at individual qualification with the goal of an advanced academic career in subject didactics research.
- Design and development of a postdoctoral project in the field of mathematics didactics or related subject didactics
- Collaboration in projects of the Subject Didactics Research department (including publications and promotion of junior researchers)
- National and international publication and presentation activities
- Commitment to third-party funding acquisition
- Teaching activities in the training and further education of teachers
- Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to subject didactics
- Completed or imminent doctoral degree and proven experience in empirical research
- Professional experience in primary or secondary schools and teaching diploma desired
- Ambitious and dynamic personality
- German and English skills at publication level
