Portrait of the School/Institution
The Salome Brunner Foundation is committed to around 300 children and young people with speech development disorders and learning difficulties. With our various schools, we see ourselves as an important part of the educational landscape of the Canton of Bern.
The Langenthal Speech Therapy School is a special public school for children with complex speech development disorders. It includes three classes, one of which is a kindergarten class. The children are accompanied and supported in their development by specially qualified professionals. Small classes allow for addressing the individual needs of the students.

Tasks
You support the special education teachers in their work and promote children with cognitive impairments within the framework of individualized instruction. Close collaboration with the class teachers. You take on practical support sequences and care tasks. You contribute to the design of learning environments. Assistance in projects, at school events, as well as accompanying the class on excursions are also part of your responsibilities.
Preparation time during 39 school weeks for 13 weeks of holidays (Langenthal school holidays). Presence time by arrangement.
Requirements
- You are at least 18 years old
- Training in FaBeK or social pedagogy
- You enjoy accompanying children with impairments on their path
- You are an alert, thoughtful, and resilient person
- You enjoy working in a team and gladly take on responsibility
- You are open, flexible, communicative
