Senior Voice Engineer (Tactical Communications)

• Technical responsibility for the further development of the tactical voice solution (TTEL)
• Design, integration, and validation of complex voice architectures and protocol flows
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization at system, network, and application levels
• Creation of technical documentation, studies, and conceptual decision bases
• Close collaboration with software, hardware, and system development teams
• Technical support for tenders, customer inquiries, and solution designs
• Setup, operation, and further development of sophisticated demo, test, and reference systems
• Professional support of voice engineers (mentoring, review of designs and tests)
• Active participation in interdisciplinary projects and technical clarifications

• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, or comparable technical education (HF/FH)
• Several years of experience as a voice engineer, ideally in safety-critical or military environments
• Very good knowledge of voice technologies (e.g., SIP/S, E1, SBC architectures)
• Solid Linux experience (operation, configuration, troubleshooting)
• Very good network and security knowledge
• Competence in testing, system integration, and analysis of complex error patterns
• High ability to create well-founded technical documentation, concepts, and studies
• Willingness to travel, mostly within Switzerland
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented personality with a high technical understanding
