Intern Quality Assurance Validation
Job Summary:
Support the Quality Assurance team in equipment qualification and validation activities to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at Fisher Clinical Services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with validation documentation for equipment and computerized systems (URS, FAT, SAT, Risk Analysis, IQ, OQ, PQ) in Secondary, primary packaging & manufacturing areas.
- Support the review and preparation of validation plans, reports, and templates under supervision.
- Help monitor qualification and validation activities on the floor to confirm systems remain in a validated state.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Facilities on documentation and data collection.
- Draft and update basic templates and checklists for validation and QA processes.
- Assist in reviewing SOPs, change requests, and deviations related to equipment (final approval by QA leads).
- Participate as an observer in client/regulatory audits and internal inspections; help with audit readiness tasks.
- Support environmental monitoring activities, including collecting data and drafting risk assessment notes for sampling locations.
Qualifications:
- Coursework or project experience related to the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Familiarity with GMP concepts and quality systems (classroom or lab exposure acceptable).
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable working with cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively; willingness to learn and take guidance.
- Experience with validation or lab equipment (academic or internship).
- Basic knowledge of Excel and document control systems.
- Interest in regulatory compliance and quality assurance careers.
