What you can achieve:
In the "Lifecycle Engineering Devices" team, you analyze and optimize components for ventilators and their accessory products available on the market. You accompany the products throughout their lifecycle as part of an interdisciplinary team from market launch to discontinuation. You ensure that the products meet our high standards in terms of quality and cost and maintain close contact with internal and external suppliers.
You work in a dynamic team composed of specialists from the disciplines of mechanics, electrical engineering, and tool technology. In this team, you are responsible for improving and further developing existing products and make an important contribution to patient care. Maintaining the existing product portfolio includes activities such as performance optimizations or quality improvements, which are implemented in close cooperation with development and production.
Technical support of products in the product life cycle as well as support for product development
Responsible for conducting root cause analyses, design verifications, design tests, and value engineering
Responsibility for developing new test methods as well as conducting design tests
Conducting internal and external approval tests and accompanying them
What you bring with you:
Degree (BSc/MSc) in mechanical engineering, medical technology, materials science, precision engineering, plastics engineering, or comparable (FH/ETH)
Teamwork, flexibility, and strong analytical skills
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a high awareness of quality
Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams on time- and quality-critical change projects
Prior knowledge in data analysis and statistics, as well as experience with product testing, is an advantage
CAD, PLM, and ERP knowledge is desired (ideally experience with Creo, Windchill, and D365)
Problem-solving methodology and risk management (FMEA) knowledge
Good German and English skills (min. B2)
