Presentation
To complete its team, the Public Law Centre of the Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences and Public Administration is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Administrative Law and Environmental Law for Professor Charlotte Blattner.
Position Information
Start date: 01.09.2026 or to be agreed
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 90%
Workplace: Lausanne Dorigny
Your Activities
• 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to completing the thesis;
• Up to 50% of the work rate will be devoted to the assistantship, namely supporting teaching and research tasks (in particular conducting practical work sessions, preparing course materials, presenting seminars to students, exam assessments, research work for the professor, notably) as well as writing personal articles for journals or conferences.
Your Profile
We wish to recruit, to complete our team, a person with the following profile:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law (or Master’s programme to be completed by summer 2026 at the latest (meeting the admission requirements for the Doctorate in Law at the Law School));
- Experience and strong interest in public law, particularly administrative law and environmental law, as well as the desire to write a doctoral thesis in these fields;
- Interest in legal research and ease in writing;
- Rigor, precision, enthusiasm for in-depth study and eagerness to learn;
- Ability to work independently, flexibility and desire to integrate into a dynamic team.
