Your new role

From June 1 to December 31, 2026, we offer you an exciting and versatile internship at the Environment and Energy Office. You will organize the mobility market as a platform for smart and environmentally friendly mobility. Furthermore, you will work on the St.Gallen Climate Week, environmental education projects, as well as actions for climate-friendly consumption and on the topic of environment and health.

Your tasks

• Organization of various events (advertising, infrastructure, media work)
• Coordination with various stakeholder groups
• Collaboration on concepts, campaigns, and environmental education
• Management of social media channels and websites
• Administrative tasks for the office

This position is for you if

• You are looking to start your career after your bachelor's degree (university, ETH or university of applied sciences) or want to gain practical experience as a basis for a master's degree.
• You enjoy working independently and in a structured manner and have networked thinking as well as a quick grasp.
• You have an affinity for digital media and write with style.
• You are proactive, communicative, creative, and sociable.
• You have initial experience in communication as well as knowledge and/or interest in the topics of environment, energy, and mobility.

About your employer

The Environment and Energy Office is committed to a healthy environment, sustainable use of energy, and climate protection in the City of St.Gallen. We inform and advise, initiate projects, and carry out legal enforcement tasks. The focus of our work is on the goals and measures of the Energy Concept 2050, the Environmental Concept, and the Mobility Concept 2040. Public relations on the topics of environment, energy, mobility, and sustainable development have an important role.
