• Ensuring and further developing our high-quality diagnostics in morphology, hemostasis, erythrocyte function diagnostics, and andrology
• Collaboration with the departments of flow cytometry/stem cells, medical genetics, and immunology for interdisciplinary diagnostics of the complex patient collective
• Close exchange and advisory cooperation with the clinics in-house, especially the large hemato-oncological clinics (adults and children), with the possibility of clinical activity
• Active participation in our training, continuing education, and advanced training program for FAMH and FMH candidates, BMA and BMA in training
• Representation of the department internally within the hospital as well as regionally, nationally, and internationally, in professional societies and committees

• Completed medical studies (foreign diploma with MEBEKO recognition)
• FMH specialist title in hematology
• Preferably specialist title for laboratory medicine FAMH hematology or willingness to acquire it
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as clinical experience in a German-speaking environment
• Proven leadership experience in a responsible position
• Sound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system
