The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees offer elderly people a regionally unique all-round care from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. Holistic care at Adullam includes a high quality standard, lived humanity, and great respect for old age.
Our main kitchen in Basel prepares around 300 lunches as well as 250 breakfasts and dinners daily for patients, residents, employees, and guests. Additionally, we provide our guests with snacks and small specialties in the "Café Jardin".
The Adullam Foundation trains a large number of apprentices and students every year. From August 2026, we offer you an interesting training position that enables future-oriented professional perspectives.

What Awaits You
During your training, you will support our kitchen teams in Basel and Riehen. There you will learn:
- to prepare fresh food and simple dishes in various
- to work in different kitchen areas – from the cold kitchen to the pastry section
- to present dishes attractively and pay attention to quality
- to keep kitchen workstations clean and hygienic
- to work in a team and organize workflows well

- Reliability and sense of responsibility
