55 Train Drivers. One Shared Mission. Two Leaders.
From July 2026, the train operations of SZU will be led by co-leadership. Together with Alexander Fischnaller, you will take responsibility for around 55 train drivers and shape the further development of a modern, efficient, and future-oriented train operations management.
You provide guidance, strengthen collaboration, and support our employees in an environment that is continuously changing due to digitalisation, technological developments, and new requirements. This includes promoting and developing employees, conducting employee discussions, and providing support in challenging situations. Together with your co-leader, you ensure that train operations work at a high professional and operational level and that cooperation with the various areas of railway production runs smoothly.
You have several years of leadership experience and know how to develop people, successfully manage change, and lead teams even in demanding situations. With your clear communication, reliability, and sensitivity to people, you build trust and foster constructive collaboration. You succeed in bringing together different interests and making sustainable decisions.
You bring a good understanding of operational processes and business contexts and appreciate working in a co-leadership where responsibility is shared. Openness to digital developments and new ways of working characterises you as much as your interest in people and the operation. Experience in the railway industry or in an operational environment of a transport or production company is an advantage.
What we offer you as Co-Leader Train Operations
You work in the heart of Zurich and can take on a versatile leadership role with direct influence on people, culture, and operations in a future-oriented railway company. The role offers you the opportunity to effectively combine leadership, employee development, and transformation. In addition to attractive working and employment conditions, we offer appealing additional benefits. Above all, all employees receive appreciation and respect.
