Socio-educational referent with trainer practitioner function (m/f/x) (80%)
The Training and Integration House (MFI), composed of a multidisciplinary team of 20 people, has the mission to welcome and accommodate people who have obtained refugee status, whether they are minors, young adults, or families. The MFI supports residents in their first steps towards integration in the canton of Fribourg by offering them professional and caring socio-educational support. Access to occupation programs in the fields of concierge services, cooking, and housekeeping. Preschool classes prepare children until their entry into public school, and a daycare is available for the youngest. Unaccompanied minors benefit from a support program specifically adapted to their needs. In addition to various integration activities, the MFI offers beneficiaries a secure and warm community living space respecting each person's identity, background, and culture.
Your tasks
Main tasks – socio-educational referent:
- Assume the role of reference person for the socio-educational support of beneficiaries
- Welcome and support beneficiaries; assist in developing their knowledge of the Swiss context and their autonomy in various areas of daily life until the realization of the exit project
- Ensure weekly socio-educational presence and during weekend events
- Be responsible for supervision, compliance with regulations, rights, and duties within the MFI and externally
- Actively collaborate within the educational team and with various partners to offer quality services to beneficiaries and continuously improve them
- Develop and work with the support network around the needs of beneficiaries
- Coordinate the actions of various stakeholders around the beneficiary's integration project
Tasks of the trainer practitioner:
- Assume the role of trainer practitioner within the institution
- Be responsible for implementing and developing the trainee follow-up concept
- Be the main contact person with the training authorities
- Participate in the trainee selection processes
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate HES and pre-HES trainees
- Promote and represent the MFI as a training institution
Our requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from a university or university of applied sciences in the social, educational field, or equivalent training
- Trainer practitioner diploma.
- Experience in supervising trainees
Professional experience:
- Experience in migration and integration
- Individual and family support within the institutional and associative network of Fribourg
Key skills:
- Case management, ability to conduct interviews and develop individual projects
- Initiative and excellent work organization
- Ability to work in a team and network
- Excellent social and intercultural skills
- Comfort in using computer tools
- Team spirit and communication skills
