Hospital Chaplain: Hospital Männedorf

In the Special Pastoral Care Department of the Reformed Church of the Canton of Zurich, the position at Männedorf Hospital is to be newly filled in the area of regional hospitals due to a retirement.

Together with the colleague from the Catholic Church, you are responsible for the pastoral care of patients, relatives, and staff. You integrate into the team structure, conduct services on the main church holidays, and participate in inter-professional projects of the hospital. You take on partial duty weeks in the regional on-call service and maintain networking with the church communities in the hospital's catchment area.

As an ordained pastor, you have gained professional experience in serving a church community and possess specialised training in pastoral care (CAS AWS Unibe or equivalent) as well as an A2 course in Palliative Care or are willing to complete it. Your understanding of pastoral care includes, alongside the Reformed foundation, a commitment to binding ecumenical cooperation and interreligious openness.
