Your area of responsibility
- You assess and settle claims from ongoing life, health, disability, and pension insurance contracts
- You are responsible for making recommendations for claims handling and guidelines for claims negotiation
- Constant contact with lawyers and other third parties to gain guidance for the best course of action in the interest of the company during claims investigation and negotiation
- You ensure timely processing of all documents related to claims in the life insurance sector and respond to inquiries about claims handling
- Close cooperation with claims regulation (Claims Negotiations) regarding procedures, technical assessment, and customer care
- The responsibilities lie in the Claims (Life) function as a generalist or in a combination of various disciplines
Your strengths
- You have completed commercial basic training, higher technical school is an advantage
- You already have experience in claims processing within occupational benefits
- Existing knowledge of case law in the area of the 2nd pillar, especially in the area of disability
- You have a customer- and solution-oriented mindset, a quick grasp, and bring a high willingness to learn and resilience
- You are a team player with a high degree of self-organization, communicate confidently in German, and preferably have foreign language skills
