What you can contribute

• Take architectural responsibility as lead architect in Java-based IT projects
• Design, evaluate and continuously develop software architectures for highly available applications
• Develop and advance strategic IT architecture planning for major projects in close collaboration with customers
• Plan and support implementation and migration of applications to the on-premise cloud
• Coach development teams on architectural issues and conduct architecture reviews, audits and sign-offs
• Define, further develop and ensure implementation of IT architecture guidelines and standards

What makes you unique

• University degree (FH, Uni, ETH) in computer science or comparable education
• Several years of experience with highly available, security-critical multi-tier architectures in the Java/Spring environment
• Experience in leading architectural topics in complex projects as well as in stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as enthusiasm for strategic work
• Strong communication skills and experience in consulting, coaching and knowledge transfer
• Good active knowledge of two official languages as well as good English skills

You actively shape the architecture of the IT systems of the EJPD and influence their strategic direction. With your expertise, you ensure that complex applications such as the national search system are developed and operated sustainably, securely and future-proof.
