Your Tasks
- Responsibility for the hospital's hygiene concept and its implementation together with another specialist
- Support, advice, and assistance to all employees and management in the area of infection prevention
- Surveillance and prevention of nosocomial infections
- Process responsibility for hospital hygiene with a focus on continuous improvement
- Responsibility for technical hygiene, e.g., reprocessing of medical devices
- Collection and evaluation of hygiene-relevant data
- You know the hygiene-relevant national and cantonal regulations and ensure their strict compliance hospital-wide
- Recording hospital-wide compliance with hygiene measures through control systems and audits
- Chairing the hygiene commission and direct reporting to hospital management
- Directly reporting to the Chief Medical Officer
Your Profile
- Service-oriented, responsible personality
- Structured, well-organized, and independent working style
- Several years of professional experience, familiar with the clinical processes of an acute care hospital
- High professional competence and a convincing personality with pedagogical skills for training to motivate employees for process-oriented collaboration
- Completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Operating Technology, or Midwifery with additional training as a specialist in infection prevention or willingness to complete this training
