Office of Culture / State Archive / 50% / Chur
As a section of the Office of Culture, the State Archive of Graubünden is responsible for preserving and advancing the historical tradition of the canton. It supports and promotes the use of archival holdings, which include about 800 years of history, by the interested public and for historical research purposes. Furthermore, the State Archive serves legal security and advises the cantonal administration on records management and information management.
For the State Archive of Graubünden, we are looking for a motivated, versatile, and responsible person for our administration starting October 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Preparation of the annual budget in collaboration with the state archivist
- Control of budget guidelines, management of creditor workflow and invoicing
- Administrative support in the personnel sector
- Administrative support for supervision of archival institutions and commissions and foundations assigned to the State Archive
- General support for the management and team of the State Archive
- Organization and management of events, collaboration in public relations work
- Support for the team in purchasing materials, equipment, and furniture
- Commercial training (commercial apprenticeship, business school, or professional maturity) with good knowledge of finance and human resources as well as several years of professional experience
- Strong organizational skills, reliable and independent working method, ability to assert oneself and work in a team
- Familiarity with MS Office and various specialized applications (CMI GEVER case management, MS Dynamics financial software, CMI-AIS archival information system)
- Interest in the history and culture of Graubünden, excellent command of German, and good knowledge of several cantonal languages are an advantage.
