The KZU, with its two in-house daycare centers, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily provides a home for elderly, care-dependent people and offers a wide range of outpatient services alongside various specialized offerings. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 trainees and students in 17 different professional groups.
