The Congress House Zurich is located in the vibrant center of Zurich, the economic metropolis of Switzerland. The Zurich event and congress center can accommodate up to 4,500 guests, making it the largest venue of its kind in downtown Zurich. The Congress House Zurich AG (Zurich Convention Center Ltd.) operates and markets the Congress House Zurich as well as the LUX Restaurant & Bar and offers upscale gastronomy throughout the entire building complex, including the Tonhalle Zurich. Founded in 1985 and ISO-certified, the company sets new standards in sustainability and quality management in the event industry.
Our sales team needs support starting November 2025 or by arrangement. In this challenging and varied role at the Congress House Zurich! You are part of our sales team and represent our house in Switzerland and around the world!
Active customer consulting including sales activities, along with the associated contract negotiations
Coordinating and conducting various site tours
Proactive new customer acquisition in the event sector
Coordinating and booking new event and congress inquiries
Creating and maintaining the booking forecast with interface communication
Conducting and evaluating statistics as well as creating various reports
Evaluation and reporting including continuous competitor and market analysis (market observations)
CRM maintenance and building customer relationships
Participation in trade fairs, as well as planning and conducting various sales activities
Several years of professional experience in sales, preferably with a focus on event management, hospitality, and gastronomy
Completed commercial training or industry-specific studies is an advantage
Solid expertise in your own work environment and good knowledge of other departments
Experience with CRM tools, ideally Ungerboeck
Very good knowledge of MS Office
Analytical skills and enjoyment of administrative work focus
Native German speaker, very good English skills are essential
