Application Engineer SAP HCM 80 - 100%The Office for Information Technology (AFI) is the IT competence centre of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and cantonal-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Office for Information Technology accompanies and supports the Canton of Zurich into the digital world.
HR-IT is constantly evolving. Together, we ensure that central HR processes function reliably while simultaneously shaping the future of the cantonal HR system landscape. Whether operation, further development, or digitalisation – with us, you can contribute your technical know-how and actively help shape the future.
Your tasks:
- Operation, maintenance, and further development of SAP HCM solutions
- Analysis and implementation of functional requirements into technical solutions
- Participation in and management of changes, projects, and subprojects in the SAP HCM environment
- Support of the further development of the HR system landscape within the framework of the AURORA project (replacement of the existing SAP solution)
- Advising specialist departments and customers in the personnel environment
- Coordination of internal specialist units and external partners
- Ensuring stable application operation and continuous optimisation of the systems
Your profile:
- Higher education in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
- Experience in application management or in supporting complex business applications
- Knowledge in the SAP HCM environment
- Experience with ABAP/ABAP OO, Web Dynpro ABAP, or SAP UI5 is an advantage
- Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
