Your Tasks
As a Business Controller, you are responsible for the financial support of the Medical Department. You work closely with the MED department manager, who holds the financial responsibility. The MED department includes the medical university clinic, the neurology clinic, and the competence center for tumor diseases.
- Monitoring budget compliance and ensuring cost transparency through appropriate reporting and analyses
- Responsible for accruals in the monthly closing process in this area
- Preparation of the budget as well as profitability calculations in cooperation with the department manager
- Conduct regular status meetings with line managers in collaboration with the department manager and support the development of improvement measures
- Participation in projects and the further development of our controlling instruments and processes
Your Profile
- Completed training with further education in controlling or a university degree with a focus on finance/controlling (university, university of applied sciences) or as an expert in accounting and controlling
- Initiative, assertive personality with high personal responsibility and appropriate communication skills
- Ideally experience in an acute hospital environment and understanding of industry-specific data and value flows, but not mandatory
- Strong analytical skills, high affinity for numbers, and a goal- and result-oriented working style
- Very good MS Excel skills; experience with BI systems (e.g., QlikSense, TIP HCe) is an advantage
