MPA / Medical Secretary 100%
Our Neurocentre Basel is continuously growing. To strengthen our committed team, we are looking for an open-minded, motivated and reliable medical secretary or MPA.
On the 18th floor of the Messe Tower Basel, we offer our patients specialised neurological assessments. In February 2026, we expanded our range of services at our second location at the Marktplatz to include consultations for neuropsychology (general neuropsychology, ADHD and autism) as well as sleep medicine.

Your area of responsibility
- Reception, telephone
- Organisation of consultations with calling in patients (neurology/neuropsychology)
- Writing and correcting reports from dictation
- Willingness to occasionally cover holidays in our other centres (Western region; Aarau, Baden, Lucerne, Biel)
- Maintaining electronic medical records (fully electronic via curaMED)
- Assisting with organisational tasks around daily practice
- Blood sampling
- Assisting with lumbar punctures
- Assisting with Botox treatments
- ECG
- MS scores
- Participation in gait analyses and OCT (desired)
- Issuing actigraphy / polygraphy devices
Your profile
- You are a resilient MPA or medical secretary (career changers also welcome) with experience in the administrative field. Experience in neurology is an advantage but not essential.
- You approach our patients and referrers in a friendly and competent manner
- Proficient knowledge in handling IT and fully electronic medical records
- Your working style is efficient, you have organisational skills as well as a quick grasp with an eye for the tasks at hand
- At least one foreign language is desirable (French or English)
- You enjoy working with many medical and non-medical colleagues
