About the job
Would you like to practise general medicine in an environment that supports you? Do you appreciate modern infrastructure, exchange with various specialties, and the security of an established network? At the same time, do you want to work close to Zurich without having to forgo nature, recreation, and a high quality of life?
You work in a large outpatient health centre with around 60 employees from various professional groups. This creates a lively, interprofessional environment with diverse opportunities for professional exchange. In addition to general medicine, other specialist areas and health services are represented on site, enabling short distances and comprehensive patient care.
The practice is part of one of the largest outpatient health networks in Switzerland. You benefit from modern structures, digitalised processes, and administrative support, allowing you to focus on your medical work. At the same time, there is enough freedom to care for your own patient base in the long term and to practise your personal style of medicine.
About the region: An economically strong, lively, and vibrant location between Zurich and St. Gallen. Particularly attractive is the excellent accessibility – Zurich is quickly reachable, as is Zurich International Airport. At the same time, you benefit from lower living costs than in the greater Zurich area and from proximity to attractive leisure regions such as Lake Constance, the Appenzell region, and the Pre-Alps.
Your responsibilities:
- Independent care of patients of all ages
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
- Conducting preventive examinations and health checks
- Long-term general medical support of your patients
- Collaboration with the various specialist areas on site
- Participation in the further development of the practice and medical services
Your skills:
- Specialist title in General Internal Medicine, General Practitioner, or equivalent qualification, especially German specialist title in General Medicine
- German language skills at C1 level
- Enjoyment of outpatient medicine and long-term patient relationships
- Independent and structured working style
- Team-oriented personality with interest in professional exchange
- For applicants from abroad: Medimeo supports you with advice and financially in all steps regarding MEBEKO recognition
Your benefits:
- 45-hour week with predictable working hours
- At least 5 weeks of holiday per year
- Employer covers around two-thirds of pension fund contributions
- 100% continued payment of salary in case of illness or accident
- 14 weeks maternity leave with full salary
- Relocation support for moving to Switzerland
- Modern infrastructure and strong administrative support
- Very low tax burden as well as attractive pension and provision solutions compared to Germany
