YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsible for all procurement activities and identification of synergy and bundling potentials within the project
- Independent tendering, negotiation, and operational procurement of components
- Responsible for procurement-side support of components in close cooperation with engineering, production planning, and project management
- Conversion of engineering BoM to production bills of materials in SAP
- Participation in audits related to the purchasing area
- Design and further development of procurement and interface processes to increase efficiency and collaboration
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the procurement process
- Interface management between production, engineering, project management, and logistics
- Master data maintenance in the ERP system SAP
- Implementation of new technologies and systems to support and improve procurement processes in SAP
- Responsible for compliance with the approved project budget and leading project monitoring, controlling, and reporting
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed basic training in a technical field with commercial further education (business economist HF, technical buyer federal diploma, purchasing specialist federal diploma) or university degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
- Several years of procurement experience in an international technical environment, preferably in plant/machine construction or the rail vehicle industry
- Experience with multi-level BoM structures
- Experience in interdisciplinary project management, certification is an advantage
- Proven negotiation success with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP system SAP S4/HANA
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form (level C1), additional languages are an advantage
- Committed "doer mentality" with the willingness to take responsibility for own topics
