Precision Toolmaker (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacture, adjustment and maintenance of precision tools and production equipment for industrial production. You ensure the optimal functioning of the equipment, carry out mechanical fine machining and make an important contribution to ensuring consistently high production quality. Your careful working method supports a smooth production process.
Responsibilities:
Assembly, fine-tuning and optimisation of precision tools as well as mechanical production fixtures
Carrying out maintenance, repair and adjustment work on existing equipment
Processing of individual parts and small series using precise grinding and finishing methods
Performing general workshop tasks such as finishing, surface treatment, labelling and preparation of components
Inspection of manufactured components for dimensional accuracy, function and quality
Independent assurance of compliance with internal quality and production standards
Participation in the continuous improvement of tools and production processes
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a toolmaker, polymechanic or in a comparable metalworking field
Experience in the manufacture, maintenance or optimisation of precision tools and mechanical equipment
Independent, precise and efficient working style
Strong quality awareness and high care in handling precision components
Team-oriented and reliable personality
Fluent German language skills
