About the job
Head of Category Management SubCo, 100%- Strategy & Implementation: Further development and implementation of the material and supplier strategy in your product groups and roll-out in the regions
- Leadership & Coaching: Management and coaching of two Category Managers as well as central contact person for SubCo
- Negotiations & Framework Agreements: Conclusion and updating of framework agreements for services and materials with existing and new suppliers
- KPI Monitoring: Monitoring of relevant key figures (costs, quality, delivery reliability) and derivation of proactive measures
- CSR & Sustainability: Promotion of transparency and development in the areas of safety, CSR and innovations
- Compliance & Process Discipline: Ensuring the proper application of global and local contracts as well as continuous optimisation of the supply chain
- Operational Support: Accompanying operational managers in supplier selection, platform usage and cost reduction
- Analysis & Optimisation: Conducting expenditure analyses and initiating improvement projects
- Reporting & Budget: Preparation of reports on cost reductions, budget planning, monitoring and forecasting
- Integration & Projects: Participation in the integration of new client mandates as well as in national and international projects
- Completed commercial or technical basic training with further university of applied sciences education in purchasing or supply chain management
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing/category management, ideally in the SubCo environment
- Proven leadership experience and strong project management skills
- Analytical thinking, affinity for numbers and structured working method
- Strong negotiation skills and high social competence
- Very good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
- Fluent in German, confident in French and English, Italian an advantage
