Key information about the position:

Reference: CLS/RH/2025.710 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 80% / Hours: 12-hour shifts / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

Due to a departure in the team, we are looking for a new person to join the team on a long-term basis.

Our unit consists of two sectors: a 12-bed sector welcoming acute medical patients with an oncology focus, and a 21-bed polyvalent surgery sector (spinal surgery, digestive and general surgery).

What will you be expected to do?

• Care for patients holistically, maintaining autonomy and dignity
• Work collaboratively to ensure optimal patient care
• Apply technical and specific nursing skills
• Strictly apply hygiene and asepsis rules
• Participate in patient therapeutic education
• Maintain computerized patient records and traceability of all actions
• Participate in unit projects and continuous improvement of care

Who will you work with?

Essentials:

• You hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent title recognized by the Red Cross
• You have professional experience in a hospital environment
• You demonstrate versatility, organization, and flexibility
• You are dynamic and have team spirit
• You are discreet and respect confidentiality
• You have interpersonal qualities: patience, listening, neutrality

Your assets:

• You possess interpersonal skills and an interest in supporting vulnerable patients at all stages of their illness
• You show initiative and wish to develop your skills in acute care
• You have an interest in the versatility of care for medical or surgical patients with an oncology focus
