About the job
Class and annual salary (including 13th month):
CHF 1,800.-- (with completed bachelor)
CHF 2,000.-- (with completed master)
Tasks:
- the intern will assist the scientific collaborator in carrying out the duties of her function, being involved in scientific research activities, study, consulting, and preparation of temporary exhibitions, as well as activities related to the management and inventory of the permanent collection
- the intern will collaborate in the mediation and communication activities of the institute: guided tours, educational activities for children and schools, management of the website, newsletters, and social media channels
Requirements:
- bachelor + master or bachelor in art history or equivalent training
- excellent written and spoken knowledge of the Italian language
- spoken and written knowledge of at least one of the other official languages (German or French) and English (level B2 or equivalent or higher)
Special notes:
- the internship (with a fixed-term auxiliary staff contract) will last from 6 months up to a maximum of one year
- desired start date: April 1, 2026, or a date to be agreed upon
- candidates who obtained their bachelor or master more than one year ago are not eligible for the internship

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
