Legal Intern, 80% (fixed-term employment for 6 months)
The HEKS Legal Advice Center for Asylum Seekers Aargau offers legal advice and representation to asylum seekers, refugees, and provisionally admitted persons.
To support our team in Solothurn, we are looking for a motivated individual as of January 1, 2026 or by arrangement
These are your main tasks:
- Supporting lawyers with legal submissions to the Federal Administrative Court, the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM), and cantonal authorities
- Legal clarifications and individual case assessments
- Independent drafting of legal correspondence
- Telephone and personal legal advice
- Participation in hearings
- Assistance in organizing workshops and events
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Law studies (BLaw or MLaw)
- Interest in asylum and immigration law issues
- Very good written expression
- High communication skills and sensitivity in dealing with people from different cultures
- Good foreign language skills, especially English and French or Italian, additional languages are an advantage
- Flexibility, independence, and high resilience
