Skills
- FMH specialist in Medical Genetics or equivalent required.
- Experience in genetic counseling for patients is essential.
- Strong German and/or French language skills are needed.

For over 35 years, Genetica has been an established and independent competence center for medical-genetic laboratory diagnostics in Zurich. We combine excellent genetic diagnostics with sound counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Specialist in Medical Genetics FMH 80 – 100% (m/f) / Workplace: Zurich and/or Lausanne
To strengthen our counseling team, we are looking for a committed and empathetic personality with an interest in complex issues.
Your tasks
- Conducting genetic counseling in all areas of human genetics, e.g. prenatal diagnostics, oncogenetics
- Conducting genetic counseling in pediatrics and reproductive medicine (in cooperation with partner clinics)
- Writing counseling reports
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the team as well as with referring physicians
Your profile
- Specialist in Medical Genetics FMH or equivalent qualification
- Experience in genetic counseling of patients (outpatient and interdisciplinary)
- Very good German skills and/or very good French skills in spoken and written form
- Empathetic demeanor and enjoyment of teamwork
