Role Objective:
In this role, you will take on the professional leadership of the warehouse team and ensure an efficient and smooth flow of goods. You coordinate the daily warehouse activities, ensure the highest quality standards and actively drive the continuous optimisation of processes. In doing so, you work closely with internal interfaces and make an important contribution to the performance of the entire logistics operation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Professional and organisational leadership of the warehouse team in day-to-day operations
- Planning, prioritising and coordinating all upcoming warehouse tasks
- Ensuring smooth processes in goods receipt, storage, replenishment, order picking and loading preparation
- Responsibility for correct ERP postings as well as high picking and process quality
- Ensuring order, cleanliness and occupational safety in the warehouse
- Close cooperation with freight forwarding, purchasing, internal sales and other interfaces
- Ongoing optimisation and further development of warehouse and logistics processes
Your Profile:
- Completed vocational training and at least three years of professional experience in logistics, freight forwarding or warehouse management
- Driving licence category B as well as SUVA-recognised S2/R1 examination for operating the machinery fleet
- Leadership experience and a completed trainer course are advantageous
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- Practical, assertive and communicative personality
- Independent, structured and reliable working style
- Confident handling of ERP systems and warehouse postings
- Physical resilience as well as a high sense of responsibility regarding quality, order and occupational safety
