Business Development Manager DC/POS 100%
Main goal of the position:
In this interesting role, you are responsible for the development and implementation of business ideas and targeted measures to further develop various manufacturers in the DC/POS area of Ingram Micro.
Your challenge:
- Partner acquisition and retention through active contact and personal interactions
- Independent increase, recovery, and new acquisition of potential partners
- Securing customer relationships with existing key accounts, especially at the C-level
- Ensuring smooth project processes as well as the best possible advice for resellers
- Maintaining and expanding existing market shares
- Preparation of project offers and tracking of open quotes
- Handling of tenders
- Manufacturer-related certifications are kept up to date
- Presence at various trade fairs and industry events, to expand partner and manufacturer relationships
- Constant collaboration with product management
Your profile:
- Completed training and further education in the business, commercial or technical field
- Several years of field sales experience advantageous
- Relevant and solid experience in IT solutions sales
- Sound knowledge in the Auto-ID area, especially Zebra Technologies
- Broad industry knowledge, ideally an existing network
- Good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Extroverted with good communication skills in dealing with manufacturers and customers
- Native German speaker as well as business fluent English skills, French is an advantage
- High self-motivation, initiative & personal responsibility
- Committed team player with a proactive working style, willingness to learn and perseverance
