The Business Unit Process Analytics develops, produces, and markets state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in biopharma, chemistry, and breweries. Our product portfolio includes sensors for critical process parameters such as pH value, oxygen, or sensors for measuring cell density, which are extremely important in biological processes and unique worldwide with their innovative technology.
What you can achieve:
Technical support for the sales organization and customers. The goal is to build and ensure sustainable customer loyalty, focusing on securing and expanding sales potential. This also includes recognizing and evaluating market trends and contributing relevant insights to Product Management for review and follow-up.
Main tasks
- Acts as a contact person for customers and the sales organization for the successful integration of our products into the customer process, for application-related questions as well as simple technical inquiries.
- Plans and independently conducts product demonstrations/presentations such as test setups, in coordination with the responsible sales manager, directly at the customers.
- Provides feedback on the findings from test setups and customer visits to the responsible sales manager and centrally stores transparent documentation.
- Constructively and independently contributes insights from test setups, customer visits, market trends, etc., where necessary and sensible, to product management.
Secondary tasks
- Is co-responsible for the timely response and coordination of centrally received customer emails and calls. This also includes creating and processing cases and RMAs in the complaint management system (ServiceNow CSM).
- Ensures a customer-oriented and economically sound assessment of customer complaints and the associated satisfactory sustainable solutions for the customer. If necessary, colleagues from the Technical Support Team and/or Field Service Support are involved.
- Interdisciplinary organization of customer seminars, webinar trainings, and training sessions for customers as well as service and sales organizations, and actively participates where necessary.
- Represents colleagues from the Application Support Team during their absence.
- The described activities involve a high level of travel.
What you bring:
- Completed training and preferably further studies in chemistry or biochemistry at HF, TS, Bachelor, Master level, or similar
- Ideally several years of professional experience in the industrial environment of the process industry, preferably in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry
- Structured and methodical working style
- Very good language skills in English and German, spoken and written
