To complete our Hotel Services team at the Regional Hospital of Lugano, we are looking for a
Hotel Service Assistant (100%)
Profile:
A person with solid organizational and relational skills, capable of managing sales and event organization activities, as well as fully administering the staff house (operational coordination, room assignment and management, supervision of organizational and logistical aspects, and oversight of related procedures). The future collaborator will handle the administrative and accounting management of invoices, including quarterly closings, the drafting of public tenders, provide operational support to Hotel Services, and collaborate in the management and development of projects. They know how to efficiently manage resources to ensure continuity and quality of service. The person must also be able to fully assume the replacement duties of the Head of Hotel Services, ensuring compliance with internal directives and current regulations.
Required qualifications:
- Federal diploma from a hotel management school or equivalent;
- At least 10 years of previous experience in the hotel sector, preferably in event management;
- Knowledge of national languages and English (level B2);
- Strong operational flexibility and availability;
- Ability to work under pressure, with adequate self-control and management of complex contexts;
- Precision, reliability, and speed in carrying out assigned tasks;
- Strong teamwork skills and collaboration with various professional figures;
- Skills in managing, developing, and implementing projects, with a focus on improving organizational and operational processes.
