- Ensuring 24/7 operation in fully supervised accommodations
- The night guards (22:00-07:00) must be awake
- Possibly caring for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers (exclusively in unaccompanied minor structures)
- Knowing, practicing, and responding correctly in emergencies. Coordinating with fire department, police, medical emergency organizations, and center management. This responsibility is primary for this position and is highlighted separately here
- Supporting a meaningful and well-organized daily structure. Introducing and accompanying our asylum seekers in their new environment
- Assuming the role of contact and trusted person in all matters
- Supporting and contributing to safe accommodation by enforcing house rules, attendance and cleanliness checks, de-escalation talks in conflicts up to taking sanctions
- Organizing as well as guiding and situationally assisting with internal workfare: preparation of cleaning materials and ensuring general housekeeping tasks, laundry and clothing cleaning, enforcing hygiene regulations
- Organizing and conducting admissions, discharges, and transfers
Requirements
- Secondary level II: Federal Vocational Certificate (EBA)
- 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience
- Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement, criminal record, or special private extract)
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
