The Zug Cantonal Hospital serves the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency centre.

For our Operating Department, we are looking for a Head of Nursing OPS from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Personnel, professional and organisational leadership of the operating technology specialists and positioning care
Ensuring the deputy representation of the OR management
Defining and implementing departmental goals and projects
Ensuring core processes taking quality requirements into account
Result-oriented interdisciplinary collaboration with all stakeholders
Participation in the operational core business

Your Profile

Completed training as an operating technology specialist HF and several years of professional experience
Leadership experience and appropriate further training
You value close interdisciplinary collaboration with all hospital departments
High patient orientation and social competence
