A Purchasing Intern position is available from January/February 2026 at our Sonceboz-Sombeval site, within the Purchasing & Supply Chain Management department.
Directly attached to the purchasing team and under the responsibility of the Purchasing Manager, your main task will be:
Manage a purchasing portfolio according to Quality Cost Delivery performance objectives, while developing and driving purchasing processes based on Supply Chain performance objectives:
- Management of specific purchasing families: you will take charge of one or more product/component categories within our Purchasing portfolio.
- Contribution to the evolution of the supplier panel: you support the company's growth through three strategic axes:
- Identification of suppliers meeting the need for integration of new technologies.
- Identification of suppliers for the awarding of new projects.
- Identification of alternative suppliers for resourcing strategies.
- Monitoring productivity actions: you actively participate in cost optimization initiatives (savings).
- Supplier relationship management: you will be the daily contact point between our suppliers and the factory.
- Negotiation and contracting: you will take part in negotiating and concluding contracts with suppliers.
- Monitoring Supply Chain performance: you will ensure continuous evaluation of suppliers based on key performance indicators (KPIs) to guarantee compliance with Supply Chain objectives.
