A Career and Vocational Counselor for the IV Office
Workload: 60%
The Disability Insurance (IV) is a nationwide mandatory social insurance. It supports insured persons who are threatened by or affected by disability through integration measures. The goal is for the insured persons to secure their livelihood fully or partially independently. If such (re)integration is not or only partially possible, the IV pays out a (partial) pension.
Tasks
- Advising and supporting people with health impairments on the path to professional integration with the goal of integration into the primary labor market
- Independent and competent preparation of the necessary decision-making bases
- Case management and process support
- Communication and negotiation with internal and external partners involved in the integration process
Requirements
- Completed psychology degree or university of applied sciences degree in education, social sciences, or business administration
- Completed further training in career and vocational counseling or willingness to complete it
- You convince with your pronounced social skills, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- You actively contribute your creativity and initiative to the collaboration
- Perseverance and resilience characterize you
- A positive appearance, empathy, and assertiveness complete your profile
